A mismatched collection of vintage silver teapots can add so much charm and simplicity to your mantel decor or as a centerpiece.
Who doesn’t love an instant collection? Recently, Rich was able to pick a friend’s beautiful vintage collection. She’s a vintage wedding stylist and she creates the most beautiful weddings and photo shoots. I imagine that these teapots have graced tables at many a wedding. After picking her garage, Rich came home with eight silver teapots to add to our growing collection! I love the way all of the different shapes, sizes, and patinas look together!
My Favorite Vintage Silver Teapot
Each teapot is so special and unique, it’s hard to pick a favorite. If I had to choose, though, I’d say my favorite is this tarnished teapot with the floral etchings and its previous owner’s name engraved on the side.
You would think that having someone else’s name engraved on the side would make this teapot obsolete, but I think it makes it even more charming. This old silver teapot tells the story of the family that used to own it. Maybe it was a wedding gift or anniversary present. Maybe it was passed on through a couple of generations in the Hatch family. It must have looked so beautiful when it was all bright and shiny, and new.
Teapot Decor for Fall
The warm tones on this tarnished silver teapot remind me of a pumpkin. I really love its wooden handle as well! It would be beautiful as a centerpiece or shelf decor in the fall with some amber colored florals.

I love the look of teapots filled with fresh florals as a centerpiece. These faux tulips from Amazon are one of my favorites.
When Rich opened the Amazon box that these tulips came in, he thought for sure that they were real tulips. The kids were fooled as well. I can usually spot faux florals a mile away, but these tulips really do look just like the real thing!
